specialist know-how to produce colored yarns using recycled cotton fibers.
The recycling and spinning process are mainly carried out at our facilities and involves using more than four million kilos of textile waste per year. Hilaturas Ferre is committed to reduce the environmental impact of its products and wants to shift from a post-industrial to a post-consumer model.
This commitment includes measures to reduce waste that requires investigation into different material recycling and re-use processes and technologiessuch as automation, sorting, treatment and quality control. In this sense, Hilaturas Ferre has shown its competence in recycling industrial textile waste for a long period of time.
